Subtle Concepts Furniture Warranty Policy
Warranty Coverage and Duration:
Sofas, Lounge sofas, Consoles, Armchairs, Beds, Daybeds: Covered under a 3-Year Limited Warranty.
Dining Chairs, TV Console, Night Stand, Dining Tables, Chest Table: Covered under a 3-Year Limited Warranty.
Wooden Bed frames and wooden chairs: Covered under a 5 Year Limited Warranty.
Pouffes: Covered under a 1-Year Limited Warranty
Claim Procedure:
To file a claim, customers are required to email info@subtleconcepts.in, providing images of the defects along with the order number.
Limitations and Exceptions:
Frame structure: Covered under a 3-year Limited Warranty.
Soft furnishings (Foam, fibre fillings, fabric covers, stitching, leather): Covered under a one-year limited Warranty.
Other components (zips, fasteners, springs, suspension, legs, and movable mechanisms): Covered under a 1 Year Limited Warranty.
Exclusions: Mattress fabric (stains, burns, pilling, loose covers), normal body indentations, issues relating to comfort choice, and new bed odour.
Care and Use:
To maintain warranty entitlements, it is important to adhere to proper care and use guidelines. Usage of harsh cleansers, abrasive agents, or unsuitable cleaning substances may void the warranty.
Exclusions:
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from neglect, mistreatment, routine ageing, or accidents such as burns, cuts, abrasions, ruptures, dents, discolouration, or damage from household pets. It is not applicable for outdoor use unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Consequential damage or losses
- Repairs, modifications, or alterations performed by external sources
- Deterioration or rusting due to atmospheric conditions
- Normal wear and tear
- Mirror, glass, stone, marble, and acrylic components
- Stains/creases made by the user
Alterations and Warranty Validity:
Any alterations made to the product by the customer or unauthorised entities will void the warranty. Additionally, the warranty is only valid for products directly acquired from Subtle Concepts.
Scope of Warranty:
Customers are required to adhere to proper maintenance and care guidelines for different materials. This includes suitable cleaning for wood, metal, stone, glass, mirror, and acrylic surfaces, as well as specific cleaning methods for fabric upholstered furniture and leather products.
Setting up furniture in a specific location and using authorized packaging for transportation are essential to maintaining warranty coverage.
Manufacturer’s Decision:
Subtle Concepts reserves the right to make the final decision on all matters concerning complaints about defects in workmanship or materials. The decision to repair or replace defective items is at their discretion
Repairs and Replacements:
Items repaired or replaced under this warranty will remain under the original warranty for the remaining period. The warranty covers manufacturing defects, including the cost of materials, replacement parts, labour, and shipping expenses
Post-Warranty Defects:
For manufacturing defects identified after the warranty period, the cost of materials, replacement parts, labour, and shipping expenses will be borne by the customer.
Comfort Preferences:
Individual comfort preferences are not considered manufacturing faults and are not covered under this warranty.
